A daily detective ritual.

Cluetles is an independent browser puzzle about connecting evidence. Its cases combine the logic of a matching puzzle with a small mystery: establish where each guest was, what they carried and when they left, then explain who took the missing object.

The lodge, room board, witness clues and decisive evidence are parts of the same game. The daily case is free to play, and no account is required. Each published daily puzzle is checked for a single solution.

Help with your case

When does a new daily case arrive?

At midnight UTC. The reset follows UTC throughout the year, so its time on your local clock may change with daylight saving time. Everyone plays the same case for that UTC date.

Why is my timer still running?

The daily timer begins when you reach the table. It continues if you close the page, switch tabs or open help. This keeps daily leaderboard times comparable. Your final submission stops it.

Where is my saved progress?

Guest progress is associated with this browser. Clearing cookies or site data, switching browsers or using private browsing can prevent you from recovering that guest save. If you were signed in, use the same Google account to recover account progress. Guest and signed-in saves are separate.

Can I play without dragging or animation?

Yes. Select a piece and then select its destination room. Keyboard users can focus controls with Tab and activate them with Enter or Space. Use Motion off at the entrance to reduce movement. Music has its own volume control. If the 3D scene cannot run, the game uses a flat board.

Why did my final answer end the case?

Each puzzle permits one final submission of both the completed board and culprit. A wrong answer closes that case. Before submitting, use the witness statements, decisive evidence and up to three placement checks to test your reasoning.
